About FMSLio
Built by people who've worked with California FMS providers
FMSLio exists because California's Self-Determination Program deserves software built specifically for it. Not generic ERP, not generic payroll — actual SDP workflows.
We work directly with California SDP FMS providers. This is a high-touch, partnership-based relationship — not a self-serve sign-up. If you're running an FMS and want to talk, we're here.
Why FMSLio
California FMS providers spend their days stitching together spreadsheets, paper invoices, QuickBooks, ad-hoc Google forms, and shared inboxes. The work is real — participants get served, workers get paid, vendors get reimbursed — but the tooling is somebody else's tool, bent to fit.
The reason for that gap is specific: California's Self-Determination Program has its own vocabulary and its own workflows. Service codes, regional centers, IPP tracking, EVV exception reports, parallel timesheet approval, vendor relationship lifecycles. None of it fits cleanly into off-the-shelf ERP or payroll software. So FMS teams build workarounds.
FMSLio is the platform built around those workflows. One place for participant intake, worker payroll, vendor invoicing, compliance reporting, and the day-to-day operations of a California SDP FMS — designed so it fits the program, not the other way around.

What we believe
Four principles that shape every feature decision.
Built for California, not adapted to it
Every feature reflects California SDP requirements — from the 46 standard service codes to EVV exception reports to regional center workflows.
Compliance is core, not optional
HIPAA-aware architecture, audit-ready logs, encryption for sensitive fields, row-level security across organizations.
Built for everyone in the program
FMS admins are paying customers, but the platform serves workers, vendors, participants, and authorized representatives too — each with their own portal.
Pragmatic over performative
We ship features that solve real workflow problems, not features that look good in demos. If you've used spreadsheets for years, you know what's missing.
